Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 19, 2026
This isn’t a boilerplate list of every cookie category a website could theoretically set — it’s what GreyCover itself actually uses.
Cookies From Google AdSense
GreyCover runs Google AdSense to keep the calculators free. Google and its advertising partners set cookies to serve ads and measure their performance, including ads personalized using your browsing on other sites. This is the main source of cookies on GreyCover. You can review or turn off personalized ads at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendor cookies generally at the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
What We Don’t Use
GreyCover does not currently run Google Analytics or any other visitor-tracking or session-recording script. If that changes, this page will be updated to say so.
One Piece of Local Storage, Not a Cookie
The occasional email-signup prompt that appears in the corner of the screen checks your browser’s own local storage for a timestamp of when you last dismissed it, so it doesn’t nag you again for two weeks. This value is written and read entirely in your browser — it’s never sent to GreyCover’s servers, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it immediately.
Calculators Don’t Set Cookies
The six calculators compute results in your browser using whatever you type in. No cookie, local storage, or any other tracking is attached to using a tool.
Browser Controls
Every modern browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies from its settings menu (usually under “Privacy” or “Cookies”). Blocking third-party cookies will stop AdSense from personalizing ads shown to you but won’t break any calculator.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. We honor it where the underlying ad platform supports it, though third-party ad networks vary in how they respond to it.
Changes to This Policy
If the cookies GreyCover uses change — for instance, if we add analytics later — this page will be updated first.
